“The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” (1Corinthians 1:18)
The Journey to Easter travels to the cross. The idea of sacrifice is foolishness to this world. Yet the purpose of God was realized in sacrifice. In the same way Jesus called “take up your cross and follow me” (Mt16:24).
We hope you will join us each Sunday of celebration as we prepare for Easter. Worship begins at 10:30. You may also like to join us…
Ash Wednesday: Take part in the ancient tradition the Ashes Service. February 14th at 6:20.
Maundy Thursday: Join for a meal and then move to stations and experience the garden. March 29 at 6pm.
Lent Calendar: Lent is the time to prepare for Easter. Through this calendar we will EAT scripture, PRAY for saving, and LOVE our neighbor. The set of three will try to have a theme that ties them together (This idea came from the book/movie, which I haven’t read/seen, but it was a great way to organize our calendar). Join us each day and follow along on Facebook.
