This summer join a study of the Enneagram. The Enneagram is ancient and the symbol resembles a pentagram with extra lines, but it has nothing to with the occult. Instead it is an ancient personality tool (call it the Church Desert Father’s Myers-Briggs). Unlike modern tools, this study looks at the motivations behind our actions, and separates us into nine types (hence the title from Greek: ennea “nine” gram “drawn”). It has opened my eyes to my own motivations and also helped me better understand those around me.
We will study a book by Richard Rohr titled The Enneagram: A Christian Perspective. Each Sunday evening we will gather for study and fellowship. It all begins with a kickoff dinner where we will hand out books.
