Chandler on Mission

Beyond the Church Walls

Chandler is committed to serving our community and world. This effort takes many forms, from Easter Egg Hunts to our Food Pantry to mission trips.

Chandler Tithes – Chandler gives 10% of the offerings we receive to our Mission Budget. This amount is given to missionaries and ministries local and international. Many we know personally, like a Pastor in India. Others we serve with regularly, like Northland Family Promise and Micah Ministry.  We also support Baptist groups through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
Living Nativity — With live animals and amazing sets, we tell the story of our Savior’s arrival as you drive thru in your car!
Thanksgiving Meal — On Thanksgiving we deliver meals to anyone in the Northland who has a need. It is a full thanksgiving meal with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, pie.
Serve Sunday — Once a year we take our Sunday worship into the streets to serve our community. Our projects include every age and ability. We have quilting groups, cookies for first responders, home repair, and much more!

Food Pantry

Every Sunday Following Worship (11:30)

If you need a little extra help or know someone who does, Chandler offers a food pantry every Sunday after worship (about 11:30). You don’t have to come to church service — though we would welcome you!

Cars line up on the north side of our parking lot (see arrow). Each person will receive a list of available items to choose from. This includes staples, fresh food, and meat!

Baptist Missions

Chandler is affiliated with the moderate Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF). It is here that we have found many of our missionary connections. This includes Rick Burnette of Cultivate Abundance (upcoming mission trip) and Jenny Jenkins who lives and serves in Haiti**.

** Chandler loves the people of Haiti. We have taken 5 mission trips and sent many dollars to support the community of Grand Goave. Unfortunately the violence recently has made travel there impossible for our church. We continue to pray for God's grace to bring healing to this country.

Mission to Florida

January 18-24, 2026

Chandler has connected with Missionary Rick Burnette who leads Cultivate Abundance (learn more). This mission serves immigrant farmers by growing fresh vegetables and providing a food pantry. Amazingly, while these farmers  grow many of the foods we eat, they are often hungry!

Everyone will serve in the food pantry on Friday. There will be three other facets: (1) working in their community garden, (2) home repair for a migrant family, (3) wound care. If you have interest in attending please contact Becky Everly for more information.
